Core Values

We are proud to serve the Northern Adirondacks. Our compassion isn't just a service standard; it’s our genuine commitment to uplifting our neighbors and caring for the animals that share our homes.

Rooted in Community Passion

We believe exceptional pet care starts with a supported team. By cultivating mutual respect, overall safety, and kindness among our staff, we bring our absolute best selves to your pets.

Respect from the Inside Out

We bring modern, high-standard veterinary capabilities to our local communities. We continuously advance our skills and medical tools with the intentional purpose of keeping local pets thriving in an un-rushed clinic setting.

Up-to Date, Purposeful Medicine

We practice transparent communication—both as a medical team collaborating on cases, and as partners guiding you through your pet's health.

Clear & Kind Communication

History

The practice’s location is a 200-year-old religious building. It originally was built as a Presbyterian church and then was under the ownership of the Knights of Columbus for many years with various purposes (school, Kof C meeting hall, thrift shop). We have decided to rehab/repurpose the historic building while doing our best to honor original architecture when possible. We hope the building will continue to act as a safe haven for pets and their caregivers as we transition it to offering veterinary services.

Valor Mountain Veterinary Services came to fruition in 2026 with the goal of offering compassionate, intentional, unrushed, quality veterinary care in the northern Adirondacks. The practice is built on a framework of valuing collaboration, inclusion, respect, and kindness for teammates, clients and pets that we hope reflects in the quality of medicine we strive to offer.
